Bit of advice needed.
I have a Specialized FSR XC 2005 with 100mm suspension front and rear. Im wanting to upgrade the Axel Comp forks to rockshox revelation's with 85mm-130mm travel. I want to know whether switching to these will adversly affect the handling of it?
Also what are the differences between the dual air and the coil versions of the revelation forks?

My Marin Hawkhill came with 100mm travel but i now have Revelations and tbh i cant really feel that much difference when i have them at 130mm travel. Go out on a few rides with the travel at 130mm and once you have the feel for the bike with that much travel you will be able to adjust it between the travel settings without any problems.___________________________________________________________

Same as Scubar, have a hardrock with a 100mm fork as standard and went for Revelations. Turning is a little slower when its set to 130mm but you get used to it very quick. Bike still handles great at any height.0

Two things: is the frame warrantied to take over 100mm of travel? If yes the fork will be fine as its U turn, you dont have to keep it in the max setting.0
