I am considering buying the Rockshox Pike 454 Coil U-Turn Forks. Either the 2007 or 2008 version (i cant tell the difference).

Has anybody used them or the other forks in the Rockshox Pike range- What is your opinion of them? Should I buy them or can you recomend an alternative?

  • Have got the 426's with Poploc on 24Seven.

Have only been using them a week and they are excellent forks - very plush and soaked up everything I have thrown at them - I have a feeling that I may need a tougher spring in mine but I am a heavy git!!!

I don't know what the 454s have over the 426's but the range are excellent

I prefer them to my Fox for plushness to be honest

  • The 454's are mint! they are really nice! so nice im thinking of buying another pair for my hardtail im building up!
  • Got the 454 air u-turns but I've only just fitted them to the Inbred so I cant tell you much other than they look damn sexy
