After reading a few saddle related threads i've begining to think my arione saddle isn't wide enough for my ample posterior does anyone know how wide it is in the sit bone area?

BTW i'd go and do it myself but i'm not sure whereabouts on the saddle exactly to measure between

I've got an Arione on my Cannondale and I thought that it was a bit narrow for me but then I realised how long the nose is on that saddle. If you try and replicate your normal saddle position by measuring to the front of the saddle, it might be set too far back for you and you might not even be sitting on the widest part. I moved my Arione forward a little and it felt much more comfortable.

Mike - if we were to tell you a measurement - would that help you much ? You have one. You don't find it comfortable, so the figures wouldnt help you ?

FWIW - I love my arione - most comfy saddle I've had in nigh on 25 years.

Try comparing saddles in the shops for width perhaps ?

It works differently to other saddles, so width isn't as much of an issue. I don't actually understand it - but it is SO sweet!

I tried an Arione and found it to be no more comfortable than my Rolls saddle.
