Anyone know when Halfords usually have a sale?

Do they put all of the Carrera range in the sale?

It is fun watching Halfords prices as you will be able to see when the sales are on the way. the prices start going up a few months before and then they go on "sale" at the earlier retail price.

    just buy a bike now.

  • Halfords policy is to up the prices then have a sale... umm!!! Which they have done, eg Subway 1 last week was £199 now £230. Pushing the law to the limits in my book.

as long as the price was stable for 30 days iirc then they can have a sale!

I dont agree with what Halfords does, and I think the law should be changed from 30 days to 6 months. However the sale prices are usually lower than the original - it just looks like a bigger reduction.
  • They are un believable
  • I've just spend the last 3 hours relabeling all the bikes at my branch. A few have gone down but most have gone up. I Imagen I'll be redoing them all for the 'sale'

    Hi all,
Yeah you aint wrong mate went to Halfords Saturday to have a look, liked the Fury as well as the Boardman, did not really have the finances to stretch to the 599.99 for the Boardman and the Fury was 499.99.
I went in Monday to purchase the Fury and it had gone up to 549.99  Now only 50 quid between them i have ordered the Boardman. 8) pick up Monday first real MTB can't wait.
    Rock on
  • Be warned the Fury is a very, very good bike. I would wait a couple of weeks and watch the prices for the Carrera's go back down.

They usually drop them by a third of the hiked up price, so may drop below 400 quid.
  • Thanks guys. I was hoping for half price. Maybe it's just the Apollo crap that goes for half price!

Is the 10% off voucher still around on Kelloggs corn flakes?
    Cheers

  • Voucher is valid until 31/10/07, I got one on Monday so still available in the shops.
