Anyone bought one of these, saw it when shopping other night, only £10 and actually looks quite reasonable?

  • I bought a cheap one from some crappy Wilkinson's, thought "it's only £7.99 - how bad can it be?" - the answer was VERY, the Presta side of the pump kept blowing off the valve even when it was locked on, and basically I could have blown more air into it myself

Saying that I got my money back and bought a Joe Blow which is fantastic.

The cheap pump may have been a faulty one, but I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for, just keep the receipt - you may be lucky though and get a bargain! :)
  • Save your moeny and buy a Blackburn AT 4 off me for £20 instead.(See classifieds section.)

I saw them a couple of weeks ago and have been thinking of getting one.......but....... how accurate is the pressure gauge.
  • I dont know how accurate the gauge is but i'm sure i read a thread about track pumps and most are not very accurate when checked against an accurate gauge

I just bought one today and it seems fine, it's very similar if not the same as one Edinburgh cycles were selling for £20.00. It does the job and was a bargain as far as i can see.
