mounting a manitou swinger 6way

i just bought a used manitou swinger 6way rear shock and i'm putting it on my devinci 8flat8. i just have one quick question: the oil reservoir on my existing manitou metel shock is on the bottom (with the METEL logo right-side up). if i mount the swinger the same way (reservoir down (which is the only way it'll fit)), the SWINGER logo will be upside down. does this matter, or does the logo facing this way mean the shock was designed to operate with the oil reservoir on the top?

    does not matter.

    the manual had the recomended fitting positions if you want to check it out.
