Im off to Spain for the final week of the Vuelta to try and catch some stages.

Anyone got any expericnce in Spanish road race watching, attitudes, getting to places?

Any advice is trully appreciated, so far I have all the routes printed off a sat nav and a bucket of enthusiasm.

Cheers

A friend of mine went to watch the Vuelta 3 years ago - he found the atmosphere to be a lot more low-key than the Tour, to the extent that he managed to blag his way into the VIP grandstand at one of the finishes. A good opportunity to get up close to the riders and sting them for a few autographs I think.
