Pisa airport into to town

Hello finally about to set off to tuscany and was wondering how easy it is to get from Pisa airport into the town centre
I know its only a cople of kms but is there a quiet route?

Airport to Pisa centre is no problem. Although Italian trains take bikes the ones from the airport doen't.
Outside departures join the one way system heading right, the road curves left & you will shortly come across a turn right signed city centre (but in Italian). Take this turn & follow straight ahead into Pisa. After a km or two you will cross over a railway. To the left is the railway station (wrong way down one way street) which is usually the limit of maps in the Rough guide and such. The historic centre is fairly well signed.0 -
I cant answer your question directly, but I can vouch that Italian drivers are with rare exceptions good at giving bikes space, so I wouldnt worry too much0
