I guess he'll now be done for the car speeding offence and also the perverting the course of justice and deception charge - and any offences (if they exist) of impersonating a doctor!!!
The other interesting bit is the qute from the spokesman Julian Hewitt who said: ""The investigation team is expert in detecting such offences and will pursue and prosecute those who attempt to cheat the system."
One wonders if this guy would have been caught at all had he not aroused suspicion by being unable to spell properly. No doubt they would say yes he would but I'm not so sure0 -
I found it funny that having got away with it, the idiot then tried to get some cash out of them. And got caught. Knob.If I had a stalker, I would hug it and kiss it and call it George...or Dick

"Mohammed Chiang appeared before Southampton Crown Court yesterday, where in his summarising, the Judge said that Chiang could have "Paid the ticket and moved on, but instead you tried to con a District Judge and the legal system"
Judge John Boggis QC decided that Mr Chiang should be sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for attempting to pervert the course of justice."Wheelies ARE cool.

Given he got away with the original offence ie got an absolute discharge rather than fine points and or a ban, I wwould have thought he had perverted the course of justice, not merely attempted toWant to know the Spen666 behind the posts?

But Spen - you are missing the point.
THis is a motoring offence - hence the victimisation, persecution and sheer vindictiveness of prosecuting him for speeding forced him to take these measures. He had no choice in the matter!
Perverting the course of justice etc is acceptable when evading your responsibilities as a speeding motorist.<b><i>He that buys land buys many stones.

Churchill Insurance performed research on the illegal practice of swopping points, (perverting the course of justice) as recommended by at least one "Road Safety Campaign"
They showed that 29% of drivers would not hesitate to swap points if they "needed to".."This research shows the lengths that some drivers will go to in order to stay on the roads despite committing driving offences such as speeding.
"Trying to escape convictions by swopping points with another person is highly illegal and can lead to prosecution. The way to avoid a speeding ban in the first place is simple - drive responsibly."
There is a common misconception that speeding and other crimes are "minor" and hence these 29% who see that it is acceptable to commit further crimes to evade porper censure.
It is even funnier when you look at some press releases...
The ABD on cycling on the pavement resulted in a fully correct and justified response from Mark Bladon- "They must learn to obey the Highway Code, and this must be enforced with zero tolerance"
Yet a week later the ABD (Mark Bladon statement)stance on illegal parking on pavements was totally different "overzealous enforcement and a "Jihad" against the freedom of otherwise law abiding motorists"
Why not accept that both activities are illegal, dangerous and should face the same "zero tolerance" not allow it or fail to enforce for one group and not the other?<b><i>He that buys land buys many stones.
He that buys flesh buys many bones.
He that buys eggs buys many shells,
