Is this route worth doing? I am up in the area next week and want to take the bike out and this seems to be the best option. Any ideas how long it will take to complete? I'm going to start from the car park by "The Castle"

    I'd definitely say so :)

    errr it looks about 10 miles? so as a long shot 1.5 to 2 hours?

    For me, I wouldn't even think of trying it on a Sunday though...it gets very very busy up there with day trippers, ramblers, tea shop visitors, motorcyclists, coaches, Sunday drivers, families going for little walks, pets off leads, kids running round etc etc :) (Shades of Victor Meldrew eh)
