Southern Sportive - entry not needed

I have entered the 150km Southern Sportive for this Sunday but will be in France this weekend. Happy to let somebody else have my entry but it needs to be done through the organiser so that they are clear who is riding. I do not want the £25.00 entry fee back and the organiser says there is no charge to transfer and he just needs the new name. If you ride, please put a few pounds in the next charity box

Good luck in Wales. I am looking forward to the Autumn Epic. I rode it last year and it is a good course and gets some good riders in it. I rode the Grand Union last week.

Is this still available?
Very happy to put the entry money in the charity box as I generally only support Sportives that are linked to charities.Paul0 -

Hi PJM.
Jim just called me from Fance as he has no access to internet so asked me to reply for you.
He said the ride is still available, you just need to contact the organiser (Martin I think).
Jim has spoken to them and they said it is ok.
Good luck0 -
Thanks
Just sent them an email + small donation on your giving page

Well done and good to see you keeping the gold standard up!
I went to France to ride the first day of a charity ride but ended up binning my return flight and staying until yesterday. 575 miles from the Med to Paris. Absolutely fantastic and the other riders have carried on and will reach Notting Hill on Sunday. see http://www.octopuschallenge.org.uk/events/view/1
Great event and stayed in a different Chateau each night and with great food.
If my legs stop aching in time I am up for a gold in the Autumn Epic.
