I've a business trip to NY in a couple of weeks and want to look up a good road shop there.

Looking for somewhere that stock "different" clothing (i.e. not Assos, Gore etc etc that you can get here). Not much point in hardware....don't get that much hand baggage thses days :D

Don't know if Ibex or Vintage Velos do wholesale or just on-line direct - but that kind of stuff.

Anyone know such a shop??

Thanks in advance. :D

    http://www.racycles.com/ in Brooklyn.
Haven't been myself but know some people who have picked up some great bargains.

Another option used by a colleague was to order some bits and pieces from American component suppliers and have them shipped to his hotel. Takes a little bit of co-ordination, though

RA cycles is great, on a sunny spring morning I walked there via the brooklyn bridge, handball courts and brownstones, one of the most memorable things I did in NY, although the guy in the shop thought I was nuts to have walked anywhere!! Great shop, great bunch of guys
