Now winters fastly approaching looking at getting some warmers.Dont have a LBS to nip down and try on,so will be buying online.

Possibly looking at dhb arm/leg warmers hows the sizing how do the two sizes compare.

I wear a medium size bib short and a medium/large jersey, would I be safe going with a size medium in both warmers.

Does anyone recommend the dhb's

Any advice feedback would be gratefully appreciated.

:)

From an expensive bad experience :) avoid the Assos Roubaix legwarmers like the plague. The Assos arm warmers are OK though.

Got my self some Sugoi arm and knee warmers.... Very warm, especially arms cause they have a bit of polar fleece inside and they can resist a hundred washes in the washing machine (too lazy to clean them by hand!)

Might try some medium size if you don't have big biceps or bigs shoulders... I also wear medium jersey and bib...
  • cheers guys.

Not sure what size to go for.I lift weights so my arms and shoulders are reasonably muscular perhaps I will go large.

Best value arm warmers I know of are these from Prendas. They are a superb piece of kit for the money.
  • I'm waiting for a delivery of dhb leg warmers any day now! I wasn't sure about the sizing either so emailed Wiggle with my measurements (inside leg: 34'', thigh circumference at bibshort line: 20'') and they recommended the L/XL ones (I guess sizing is based more on leg length as I've got quite skinny thighs...).

I can let you know how they perform next week as I'll be cycling from Ben Nevis to Snowdon and the chilly Scottish early mornings should be a good test!

    cheers ANDYP

    thanks for the tip mdk27.

Please let me know how you get on with them and good luck on your ride.
  • Unfortunately the dhb leg warmers never arrived in time from Wiggle (still haven't actually!!). Anyway, picked up some specialized ones from a LBS (size large) on the way to start the challenge. The specialized ones fit great and were nice and warm for the early mornings - I'd recommend them if you're still on the look out.

    Cheers,
    Matt
