respraying

i have an old diamondback which i have had for about 3 years and i am off for 4 weeks, in 2 weeks so i thought i will just give it a good clean up starting off by respraying it, i am not bothered about it being mint just a new respray as it is going to be getting hammered instead of my norco, how do i start off respraying it and what type of paint?
also does anyone know any cheap bmx online stores as i am into downhill and dont know alot about this?
