Damaged stanction

I hoping one of you can help me with this -
I've got a nasty scratch in my stanction, I have a small amount of Oil coming through, so I guess there's mud going the other way.
I read about a few home repairs involving Araldite (sp?) and other monster glues etc and sanding / filing back, but I don't trust myself not to make it worse.
Can you have new stanctions fitted It's a 2007 888 RCV, looks easy enough to dismantle one stanction from the whole assembly, but I'd probably get it done by a Pro.
Also, if you can indeed get replacements, would it be possible to fit a couple of posher coated ones from a higher spec 888?

yes legs are interchangable and it is not too difficult just a bit messy."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
