Greasing speedplay zeros

Speedplay pedals have a grease port but how do you apply the grease? Do you need a syringe type tool or something?

    It depends on the model you have. Either:
    - remove the dustcap and insert the greaseport plug. Then using a grease gun, insert grease whilst turning the pedal, until the grease comes out on the axle.
    - remove the screw on the dustcap and put the grease gun in here.

    You need a grease gun to pump in the grease. They cost less than a tenner and are always useful, they let you apply the grease to where you need it and keep things tidy.
