Anybody know of any really fast rolling tires?

Hi there just starting 6th form and decided its quicker and cheaper to ride there. i will be doing around 10miles a day all on road.
The continental vertical protections on my other bike seem fast but i wondered if there was anything faster?

Thay are fast for a tyre of its type: but nothing as fast as slicks on the road.

Specialized Fatboys. Full slicks and about 300g a tyre IIRC.

Get some semi slicks if you will be doing some dirt work.

Look at Vredestein spyder ultra semi slick. New one nearly puncture proof.Had my older non ultra ones 6 years and only one puncture in those.

I seriously doubt you would be able to aqua plane on a bike, the contact area is tiny.

well if u do go for slick tryes make sure u have a front and back brake because from my experince i only had a front brake and it had been raining so the surface was wet, and i was goin down the hill into beeley (the peak district) and i applied the front brake a little goin towards a corner and my front wheel slid out and i put my foot down and i was ok, which could have been dangerous. also the tryes wasn't fully slick i would say half way between slick and normal.
