New Wheels Advice.
I currently have a 2006 Zonda wheelset, which I'm very happy with. Luckily tho, I may have a few quid to burn on the bike, so may go up a notch on the wheels.
Just want to test the water - what would people suggest for the £500-600 mark per pair? To me the 2 obvious choices are Fulcrum Zeros or Kysrium ES's, but I've never actually ridden either. Zondas are about 1635g per pair, and I'd be looking to get it down to about 1450g or so if I'm spending £££'s!
Cheers for your advice.

How about handbuilts with Campagnolo Record of Shimano Dura Ace hubs. Go for 28 or 32 whole hubs, light spokes likt Sapim Lasers and a nice rim such as an Ambrosio Excellight or Mavic Open Pro. Looking at 250 pounds and 1500g or so. DT Swiss do a 1450 wheelset in that price range too.0

Look at the easton range. The orions are cheaper and lighter than the ES as well as being bombproof in my experiencehttps://www.bikeauthority.cc/

Campag Neutron Ultras - light and comfortable.0

Or, if you're happy with the Zondas, then go for the Eurus wheels which are the same design but 300-500 grams lighter (and lighter than both the Fulcrums and Mavics you're considering).
You'll fly with a pair of those in!
Added later: The Racing Zeros are lighter than the Eurus. Sorry. :oops:0 -
Anyone got any opinions on Shamal's? They're on Parker for less than £600, and are under 1400gms a pair.
It's just the gold that puts me off - there's no hiding with them!Knackered? Me?0
