Creaking Noise and Chain Device

Very recently my cranks (or around that area) have started to make a creaking noise, what is it? How can I fix it?

Also, I'm thinking of getting a BlackSpire Stinger chain device, Which one would I get, I have a Kona Blast 2006, which fitting would I need, I know there's two types but I don't know the names, thanks for any help :D

    Just checked and everything around that area is all tight, what do you think, oil the chain?

    try tightening and oiling the pedals a lot and then tighten your cranks that usualyy solves the problem
    oranges are the best

    Ok sure, I'll try that, I've tried tightening everything around that area and it all seems fine... So I don't know what it could be... I'll oil the pedals tomorrow, thanks for that.

    I've oiled the chain and sprayed WD40 on the pedals and the cranks, if it doesn't go, what else could it be?
