Winter Bike ideas?

Hi,
Anybody got any ideas for a maintenance free winter MTB? I'm eager to get out there for the up comming winter months, and I'm keen to know what you all think? I'm not bothered if its single speed or even no front shocks! I just want something that's gonna take a few knocks and is a bit of fun, without me having to worry that I will need to fix it up after every ride?
I'm open to ideas, so please feel free to leave a post!

You'll still need to do some maintenance, albeit not as much. Dont want headsets rusting, and cogs. What sort of budget?0

I saw an ad in MBUK for Swobo bikes from Stif. Their slogan was something like 'simple bikes for maintenance free travel'. They might be your thing, although one of them looked like it didn't have any brakes!0
