New Tyre

I have worn my rear Tioga XC Tyre and dont really like my front Continental Vapour, and I was wondering what tyres I should replace them with?
I do mostly dirt jumping, and park but a bit of singletrack and light DH.
I want a nice stable but not too heavy tyre with not to tall , square knobs as my Continental Vapour put me off weird shaped knobs.

Panaracer fire? They have square knobs. Whatever you get will be a compromise slightly on one of you chosen terrains.0

Maybe Panaracer Cinder's0

I have read reviews where people are saying they use they're nearly bald tyres for street and park, what is the dangers of running bald?0

If it rains you'll have lots of fun picking yourself up off the deck0

Okay, thats annoying. I have found the Tioga DH and it looks good for some stuff but it is supossed to have really terrible grip, so I dont know what to get?

What's you budget?
I have a 2.35 Maxxis Larsen TT on the rear of my P7 it's very quick on the single track and nice and large for any street miss-haps
Rob Jarmen has one on his marin in the latest MBUK and that was being used in the alps so can't be bad for down hill either.
Cornering is a little sketchy but love the feel of being on the edge as the tyre grips at the last moment, can clog up in the mud but soon clears on the hardpack.
Currently running a Kenda nevegal on the front, which grip well in the corners and makes up for the lack of rear traction out back.
Sorry to waffle on...

20 for the Larsen and 20 for the nevegal but that was with discounts, have a look at wiggle and chain reaction.
Happy hunting.Dave0 -
