build me a Litespeed Ardenne
I was so very close to buying a Pinarello F3:13 this weekend. The dealer let me down unfortunately so I started questioning my rationale - the F3:13 looks fantastic but I always wanted a Ti bike... The F3:13 was heavily discounted but is that the right reason to buy it?
I decided to order an Ardenne but the stock bike comes with 105 and I really would like Ultegra on it. So with an Ardenne frame (Large, I'm 95kg too) and Ultegra groupset on order what wheels, stem, bars, would you put together with it?

Have you read the post on page 3
Good old titanium. strong as cardboard?
Not trying to put you off ti, I ride it myself.
But it does make interesting reading.0 -
I think that post concluded that the failure was due to a design flaw with the integrated headset (which has since been shelved) so can't really be blamed on the material.0

I agree, it was my old Litespeed 2005 Tuscany frame that started the "Good old titanium. strong as cardboard" thread.
Titanium isn't a bad frame material as such. Litespeed's integrated headtube design evidently had a design flaw.0 -
Wasn't on about the material, personally i love ti bikes
was just highlighting that there could (not definitely) be a prob with litespeeds0
