Needing to get some dynamo bits, which work out about half price at Roseversand compared to anywhere in the UK.

Anyone used them, are they as good as Wiggle or CRC. What payment methods have you used.

Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.

  • I used them a couple of years ago to supply a Shimano hub dynamo. I was surprised by the size of the box that arrived but it contained a massive catalogue and a free hat as well as the dynamo.

They charge for delivery, 6 euros at that time, and not as quick to deliver as Wiggle, to be expected I suppose, but OK. I paid by credit card and it worked out fine.

  • I have used them, and recommend them. Good prices, though P+P is now 12 euros to the UK I think, so the bigger the order you place the better that cost becomes. They sell lots of stuff I have been unable to find in the UK, or at better prices. The catalogue is fantastic, full of bits and bobs that take your fancy. They're good !
  • Or maybe p+p is 8 euros ??? I can't remember for sure, anyway it's on the website so you can check before committing to buy.
  • I have not used them but it has always been a pleasure dealing with German companies, there level of customer care is far greater than here in the UK.

I think Roseversand should open a dedicated dynamo shop! Like others here, I bought a hub dynamo from them. In fact, I was able to buy all the bits to build up the entire wheels for less than my LBS wanted for the hub alone. (Plus they sent me a free baseball cap in the box). They also do a variety of dyno-hub wheels built up at good prices.

They're not cheaper across the board. I can get some stuff at my LBS for the same or less (e.g. Mavic wheels) but their Shimano pricing is very good and their fully built-up bikes look great value.

As others have mentioned, they can be slow. My order took over a week to dispatch and another week to ship.
