Shimano R150 shoes - trying to fit Look cleats

I've got a lovely pair of carbon R150 shoes, but can't get my Look cleats to fit, as the shoes have used SPD pedals. The 3 holes for Look cleats are there, but no 'nut' to screw into, just an empty hole. I found this on the web..... "The R150 sole is slotted to provide access to threads for SPD and SPD-R cleat placements. To fit Look-pattern cleats, you perform minor surgery, opening the midsole from inside the shoe and changing the insert for one with threads positioned for a three-bolt cleat."

Anyone know here I can buy a insert with threads positioned for a three-bolt cleat?

Thanks

    Google for:

    Shimano SH-SM85 Cleat Adapter Plate
Not sure if these are what you need though.

Wiggle sell them.,I'm sure they'll point you in the right direction if you give them a bell.

Thanks, but looks like these screw into the sole - I'm looking to an adaptor which fits inside the shoe, and has a screw thread for each of the 3 mounting holes

    Anyone else?
  • Hmm, its not these you need is it? (appears to me that SPD-SL and Look use the same cleat pattern, but I haven't used either).
