Bit of a newb question but currently I cycle some on-road and off-road stuff on my MTB but am getting fed up changing tires 2 or 3 times a week
If I get a new set of wheels with disc hubs + rotor will it align perfectly with the calipers set for my existing wheels or will I potentially need to adjust my caliper positions each time I change wheels (which would be as much hassle as changing tires). If they should line up exactly would the same be true if I got a centre-lock hub + adaptor for the rotor (just I know somewhere selling XT wheelsets cheap but they are centre lock disc hubs only).
Also my existing wheels have a SRAM 9-spd cassette (but XT shifters, mech and HG73 chain) if I did get another set of wheels should I also get a SRAM cassette or can I get an XT cassette (which are also on sale )?

The best way is to use a rotor shim so you dont have to adjust everytime. The gear issue is another thing, you may have to adjust them everytime.0

You can get a shimano or sram cassette, no danger there, and you should be able to get the rotor in the right place. What brakes are you using? Shimanos shouldnt give you any troubleCrushing the symptoms0
