Bottom Bracket for Carrera Fury 06

I need to replace my BB, (Halfords reckon its due to poor pedal maintenance :? ) anyone know what sort I need. I've just lost job, so if know of any bargains etc would be much appreciated. What would I be looking for on ebay or in LBS etc, cheers

Unfortunately cheap ISIS BBs dont last too long - I'd invest in a SKF one if you want it to last or think about new cranks and BB.

Whats SKF, are BB standard size, or do I have to ask for specific size etc, please forgive my ignorance

First off you say you are out of work. what your buget for the bb and fitting. do you have the tools or will it be lbs time?

Skf is brand, make good bearings. The dimensions will be written on the old one, usually 68x113 - most have spacers for 73mm shells, most axles with isis are113

I have the tool, though never used it. LBS wanted £30, or £15 for new BB without fitting (think he was doing me a favour, nice bloke), hoping to get ebay bargain etc
