rock shox maxle help?

Hi there im sure im being really dumb and i apolagise for it.
So this morning my santa cruz blur 4x arrived which has the rock shox pike 454's.
on the maxle inner quick release bit is there only supposed to be one spring? if so is it supposed to go on the side of the leaver?

Got two springs on mine ( My 454s arrived in the post yesterday ) just like a conventional QR skewer...0

Without sounding stupid myself or insulting your own inteligence but are you sure the other spring isn't 'lost' in the axle? I only new I had two when after 3 mins waving the forks about (getting all excited) after undoing the lever the 2nd spring fell out into my lap :roll:0

hmmmm im gonna have a search, cos i was doing the same as u but i was all excited putting them on my new santa cruz.
