ez all, basically, I'm not too sure what path I wanna take with my riding, well into doing trialsy stuff, but at the same time I love throwing myself down hills at ridiculous speed, so therefore I need brakes which'll cover my ass in both situations!! I was looking at the hope mono trials although chain reaction says they are "strictly for trials" wtf does that mean?! any other reccomendations, would preferably like to spend under 250 for both front and rear!!

cheers in advance!

what is the bike? a general allrounder by the sounds of it.

so not the mono trial brakes.

normal minis or M4's or formula Oro's or avid 5's or 7's.

adover are there any decent bike shops where you live? If so, I'd go down there and check out some of the options rather than taking advice on here not having tried the brakes out. I'd of thought that the modulation or 'feel' of a brake would be really important to get right, especially on a bike being used for trials riding (amongst other things).
