Can anyone tell me where I can buy the US "Bicycling" magazine. WH Smith appear to only stock UK bike mags. I am in the Bath/Bristol area.

The subscription is about 20$ a year domestically. Have you emailed them about sending it to Britain? If there is any particular article you are looking for, I could bring it back at Christmas and post it to you.
Bicycling is quite good. It has a broader mix of topics than C+ but still resorts to painful review stereotypes like "stiff yet compliant" and is obsessed with carbon fibre. I prefer Tour from Germany. Who else would use engineers to test equipment?
  • I've picked up a copy a couple of times on trips to the States and was amazed at just how many adverts there were for motor vehicles.

Clearly the Americans don't have the same 'anti car' attitude that's so often touted by cyclists here.
There's no such thing as too old.

When i used to travel to the States a lot I used to pick it up at Airports - it has even less content than Cycling Weekly and race-coverage is vastly out of date - takes about 10 minutes to read cover-to-cover. Far better with Velonews.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

Yeh! Go to your local newsagency and order it. I get it every month from my local shop as it is brought into the country with comag. You can also get another american magazine called Road Bike Action. Both are good.

If this doesn`t work for you goto there website and subscribe to it. They do international.

I totally agree with you Monty. I was flying back from the U.S. in JUne and picked up a copy to read on the plane on the homeward leg. As you say it was read in about 10 minutes. The amount of editorial content is tiny and what is there is mostly rubbish.
