hi
i have a annoying click coming from what i think is my pedals.
its definaetly not the BB its new and iv taken it out and cheaked it was in properly etc.
it seems to be at a similar possition on each stroke. it also tends to be more when u put pressure on the pedals.
its the standard spec on the kona dawg 06 but with a crank bros cobalt BB

the pedals are :PD-M505 Clipless

Just go to town with the grease and hopefully it should sort it. Whenever you think its coming from your pedals it most likely isn't.

Try compressing the rear suspension whilst off the bike and see if you can make it click; basically just isolate every part on the bike until you can discover where the noise is coming from.

Click/Creak hunting is definately a skill!

Try looking beyond the click as the noise sometimes travels through the frame.

Make sure that the seat clamp is tight. I had an annoying click that sounded like the BB, but it turned out to be the seat clamp.

Also, if you think it's the pedals, make sure the cleats are fully tight.

i had a most annoying clickclickclick which i thought was my headset/stem setup, the sound really was coming from the front of the bike weird but turned out to be my saddle, biggest clue was it only clicked when i was sitting and peddling, fixed with a drop of oil on the rails.

right iv took the pedals off and put normal flats on and i think! its stoped but i can still hear a clicking coming from the rear suspension if i compress it. its a kona dawg 06. and i carnt tell if its just the rear brake routing or i think it could be the rear bushings i think there called. ( the pivot bolts at the back linkage bar)
can you remove the bushings to inspect them carnt find anything on park tools.
thanks for any help much needed

p.s any idea what could be causing the clicking in the pedals there shimano 505s i think clipless
