I should think you'll be fine... if you look at your 25 tyres, they're probably significantly wider than your rim, which means narrowing down a couple of mm won't cause any problems. As for the difference in performance i cannot say... i'm thinking of shifting the other way, from 25s to 28s for our LEJoG trip, primarily to deal with any inclement weather... has anyone tried this and is the change in performance significant? (sorry for hijacking your thread! :? )0
