What lightweight waterproof/weatherproof shell?

I can't decide between the Montane H20 Featherlite and Endura Ultralight or Montane Velocity DT or Endura Superlight.

the main criteria being something that keeps the worst of the rain off without making me sweat my arse of instead -

    Or you could just cut holes in a bin bag and have the ultimate in light weight and small packing size :lol:

    I've got a Montane Featherlite Vélo and it really is super light. Easily fits in a jersey pocket and seems pretty waterproof. It is very thin, so one spill and it'll be ruined though.

    Ive got an Endura Superlite and a Montane Fetherlite Velo. The Endura is more waterproof and and adjustable. So if I know Its going to get really wet I take the Endura but for most occasions I take the more compact Montane.

    Don't know the other but Endura are excellent.

    I have had this discussion wih Karl at Condor many times. They stock Montane and Gore and lots besides. He insists on Paclite if you have to ride all day in the rain and don't want to soak in your own sweat. He says the Montane fabric isn't as breathable. The Gore Oxygen and Alp-X are very light, and the Alp-X is packed with jolly clever features. That's what I'm gonna get. http://tinyurl.com/3683tt
