I have an 06 Scott Scale that needs a new headset.

The original fitted is a Ritchey Semi Intergrated one.

Anybody have any ideas what I should be replacing it with????

Thanks

    what is semi intergrated?

is it zerostack? ie has cups in the head tube? hope.

make sure the parts are clean and a pic of the headtube as well. (top or bottom)

Here you go, a couple of shots of the head tube, and some shots of the race, cup and bearings (obviously bottom and top are the same) and then one of the cup in the head tube (although not pressed in). Also one of the bike when it was assembled.

    Cheers for helping!

    tis a zerostack headset.

many out there including the new hope one.

the only thing to be aware of is the insert depth.

here are 2 from cane creek The ZS-2 or ZS-6.

As ever, many thanks for your help!

I'm assuming, I should really take it to a LBS to get fitted. I could probably get the cups in there by making a press (threaded rod with mudgaurd washers), but it's a bit of a bodge.

Well, after all that, the LBS has fitted a ZS-2. Picking it up later today.
