Trek is £399 from Evans

GT is circa £340 from Chain Reaction Cycles (after 10% discount)

Which do people think is the better bike?
I'd probably use it for commuting (with slicks) as well as for some off road riding
thanks

Yes - The Trek feels lighter and more nimble - slightly less robust - but then as I am not (yet) a harcore MTB rider and will be doing commuting too I am leaning towards the Trek.
The spec (esp rear derailleur) looks slightly better. Just want to know what others think and if I should be considering any othersMy Bikes
