Folding or non folding

Hi all,

Can anybody tell me the advatages/disadvantages over folding and non folding road tyres, i want purchase some new tyres and not sure what to order folding or not

Folding are lighter as the bead is kevlar rather than steel - so less revolving weight. I can't see th epoint unless you are racing - I go for the cheaper and heavier option.

If you purchase online, folding are much cheaper to ship.

Folding are usually much dearer, but I carry one as a spare in my bag in case of catastrophic failure. So far I haven't had to use it!
