Slipping Gears at Rear Derailleur

Which way do i turn barrel adjuster half a turn, clock or anticlock , cant remember. Gears are slipping a bit changing by themselves.

    It depends which way they are changing. If they are trying to go to a smaller cog then anti clockwise when viewed from the cable end. If to the larger cog then clockwise. Just remember that clockwise slackens the cable and anti tightens it.

    Everything you need to know there, if you are having difficulty shifting up the cassette (ie from 9-1) you need to tighten the cable by turning adjuster anti clockwise.

    It was anti clockwise , I got it sorted thanks to Park Tools Big Blue book , thanks Moray Gub
