Ok so now I have my lubberly Trek Top Fuel 8 I'm looking for the following:
Lock (something light but indestructible)
Pedals (Evans DMR V12s at £48) cba with clipless.
Saddle (the one that comes with the bike doesn't have a groove baby)
Lights (thought about a Smart Polaris 3LED+7LED rear set with a 5LED front in addition).
Wireless cycling computer (though i see there's another thread about this already, might go for the trek 9i wireless).
Mud Guards
Since I got the bike from Evans they are offering me a 20% discount on everything I buy (hence the low V12 price).
Any thoughts?

Mudguards : Crudcatcher Race Pack £20.
Saddle: Charge Spoon £20 (wiggle out of stock til Oct) or they do a WTB laser V for £14.
Lights : I have a Blackburn F&R set £20 off ebay. (4 led f and 7 led r)
Pedals : Shimano 520s for £20ish (wiggle I think or CRC)0 -
Pedals I would look at the Wellgo MG1, lighter than the V12, same bearings, half the price on ebay.0

What are the blackborns like? I've started a new lights thread elsewhere so you might want to post there (missed this comment, doh!).supersonic wrote:Pedals I would look at the Wellgo MG1, lighter than the V12, same bearings, half the price on ebay.
They are on the way. Thanks for that. Spent a day or two deciding that I wanted flats rather than SPDs, but since one of my mates broke his wrist and another her ankle on them it was more or less a foregone conclusion.Fat bloke, on a nice-ish bike.0 -
these shimano mx30 flat pedals are great with 5-10 shoes,

they come with short and long pins though i've not needed the long pins yet, i've done nearly 600 miles on them and they still feel new0 -
