Hi i brought a reba team and cant really figure out how to adjust the rebound and compression. There are two knot one has a +/- and the other the red knot below the fork wats is that for.How am i to make the fork more active? Is since that the fork is not so sensitive and i never lock it. Thanks again for ur advice.

    hiya,

    the red knob on the bottom of the fork is rebound (how quickly the return from fork compression) you should see a tortoise and a hare sticker just above it. one mine i turned it all the way towards the tortoise and marked the knob with a blob of perminent ink so i can see how many turns i've made easily, try it 1-3 turns from slow i've set mine to 1¾ from slow.

    the gold on blue +/- knob on mine (fitted with a handlbar lock-out) controls the amount of lockout from nearly fully rigid to just a little bit more stiffness, i've got mine set in the middle so it compresses only under large bumps so there's no pedel movement.

    edit: i guess if you don't have a bars poplock/lockout on there, then leave it fully open and set up the pressures in the fork with a shock pump to your liking (9½stone here 65psi upper 60psi lower) then when you need it more rigid for climbs etc just turn that gold knob to get it stiffer, i think.

    which is basicaly what the manual says!

    read it. if you dont have one download it from here http://www.sram.com/en/service/rockshox ... subcatID=8 for a more detailed info.

    read manual and play a bit with settings; also after some hours use the compression / pressures / damping may require re-adjust as fork beds in;

    AND for my Reba fork I run at much less air pressures than sticker indicates and it feels better too, @110 psi positive and negative, suggested 130-150 psi.

    enjoy

    i simply played around with the pressure slightly untill i got it right.start of as the manual says by roughly setting each fork with near the same pressure & increase & decrease as required as the manual suggests. i weight 9 stone 10 & i run just under 100 psi in both positive & negative.you could allways run them slightly soft as you have the pop loc to adjust for any brake dive.etc
