Anything with the standard shimano cleat.0

Any! As long as they are mtb shoes with the holes for the cleats you will be fine as you get the cleats with the pdeals.0

www.chainreactioncycles.com is my preference or any other decent online bike shop will sell them. Mines cost £40.0

Like most things you can pay as much or little as you want...

yeh, any shoes with 2 bolt cleat fixings will do.Depends if you want mtb shoes or road shoes. probably mtb if your reading those sorts of mags.Try your local bike shop they should have a range to suit you,let them know your riding preferences and price range. Also try www.edinburghbicycle.com for ideas from their web pages. Practise clipping in and out off the pedals before riding for real, may save any unfortunate tumbles.0

thanks for the quick replies guys, are these pedals worth using, if i get the shoes?, i am a complete noob, what is the advantages of these over normal pedals and a pair of trainers? Please e-mail me if you know any good trails and jumps around the,

Presume your using normal flat pedals at the mo.Shoes for your clipless pedals will have a stiffer sole than trainers and so will transfer your leg power more efficiently to the pedals. With your spd pedals the shoe clips into the pedal via the cleat which also stops your shoes slipping on the pedals. If you decide to go for it i don't think you'll regret it.Most cyclists now use some form of clipless pedals nuff said?0
