I have know idea of servicing forks and there driving me mad, is it just a case of oil or what? :?:

Finish Line Lube around the top of the fork stanchions compress the fork, then wipe off excess.0

yeah done it now thanks nicklouse.
oh and how many people here have teflon oil.(as per manufacturers instructions)
and how many people read instructions/manuals for components, not me thanks for the reminder.
Used finish line lube as i had it, seems brill now!!!0 -
I would say the majority have teflon impregnated lube for the chaoin, and most read the manuals...0

The dry lubes have Teflon, the wet one a similar polymer compound. Both will work fine!0

You dont really nned loads of fancy lubes for you bike TBH! FinishLine or halfords teflon does everything pretty well, as does a pot of teflon grease for greasy things. of course hydro brakes and damping need their own fluids.0
