any big spec difference?

hi all.
just wondering which is better out of these two Toras....
the spec seems similar between the two, i was planning to go for the 302, but if for the extra tenner the 289 is better, ill go for that!

each of the 302 and the 289 have either 100mm or U-turn

the 302 is the hight speced fork ....

if you are going from darts then get the 302.

better damping. the 298 is to similar to what you had. Not much. always best to make the biggest jump you can afford or you will be upgrading again too soon.

...even though the 289 is a tenner more than the 100mm 302's? sorry if im being irritating, i just want to spend wisely

302 2007 has the turnkey damper which can be locked out and a better compression circuit.

yep as the reason the lower spec fork is more expensive is that it is the U turn version.

is the lockout part of a progressive dampening circuit?

Not with turnkey no, its on/off. Motion Control as on the 318 has a progressive low speed comp damper.
