Gipiemme Techno 716 700c Aero Wheels
Hi all, does anyone have any experience of these ? I must say they look pretty nice (which as we all know is why we spend more than we should on bikes) but are pretty cheap. The downside of course is the weight at 2kg but the Campag Khamsins that came with my bike are 1.9kg so no big deal. If no experience of these how about some ideas on weight/looks/price ratio !
I ride in Norfolk so no hills to speak of so is weight the biggest issue here ? My current set up runs in at 19 pounds with pedals and pump.

There's some buzz on some of the tri forums. I think they look cool. If you check out the Gipiemme catalogue, you can see that they are very deep. The rims will be heavy though, so you will feel it when accelerating. And they would look cooler in polished silver!0
