Formula B4 brake fluid change

I've had these brakes for a couple of years now, and after reading the postings on here, feel i'm clued up enough to tackle the little things that've built up to degrade the performance. But a couple of things are still a bit of a worry:
The hose need to be shortened. Can anyone who's done this tell me if i'll need to buy new parts (biconical bush, connectors, etc) or if they'll stand up to be reused a couple of times. I've never done this before, so they've not been fiddled with yet.
I think it's time to change the brake fluid...well, if i'm disconnecting and cutting the hose, I might as well do the job well and change the fluid. How to go about this? I've already got the bleeding kit and DOT4 fluid, i've bled the brakes a few times before - these are the first hydraulic brakes i've had and would just like a bit of advice from someone who's done this already.

you will need new ends as they are not reuseable. (unless they are the reusable sort) i would replace the olive if it is not a split one.
there is some goog pdf's on formulas site.
after shortening the bleed will just be as normal. BUT DO read the manual as if you dont do as they say it can be a pain."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Cheers for that. I've already printed the diagrams from Formula's site. I think i'm just being a bit over cautious about this, and wanted to know if anyone's got personal experience of doing the job. The ends on my hose do look different from the diagram in the manual, and the brakes were OEM, so i'll have to get the parts first, I guess.0

i have blead and had my Oro's in bits and shortened the hoses etc and as i said read what they say about the bleeding (use the correct ends!) and it is simple."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

i shortened the hoeses and borught new fittings too, lthough i mnessed it up so the bike shop ended up doing it in the end, but is still do-able though.I said hit the brakes not the tree!!
