Im after buy a wireless computer, it needs to have distence traveled plus a stored total distance since starting it up.

Am looking at this one 'VDO Cytec C4 DS Digital Cordless' so far and like the style of it as well but would like some recommendations on some other wireless computers, no more than £35.

Any have the VDO Cytec C4 DS Digital Cordless, what do you think of it ??

Are all these computers waterproof or atleast splashproof??

I've got the Cateye Strada Wireless and I'm pleased with it so far(it's 2 months old). I like its size and the mount/holder fixing is pretty good too. It's not lost signal yet and uses the common place CR2032 batteries.

Another positive point is that you move through the display options by pressing the whole unit down at the front...sounds iffy? well it works great. The display is clear even in sunshine.

Don't know about its water resistance but looking at it just now I don't see too many problems. Well I hope not anyway!
  • I'll have a look at those two although they don't seem to have as meny functions as the VDO although they are cheaper.

I've been using a Specialized Turbo 2 Elite since June and think it's great. It cost me under 30 quid from Wiggle (but they no longer sell it).

It comes with a Cadence function too but I haven't used this as it is wired. Even without taking cadence into account it's still good value. Miles better than my old Trek Incite 8i.
