I have been commutting to work (20 miles per day) for a couple of weeks now on my new GIANT Terrago disc, i bought the bike on the tinter web and just had to fit the wheels pedals etc. I haven't oiled it up yet or taken it in for a service.
The pedaling into work didn't feel to smooth this morning, should i take the bike to a LBS and get it serviced? If so how much does that usually cost? I don't know much about the maint side of things would i be able to buy a book and do the work myself? I am getting a clicking sound from the pedals when i get out of the saddle, the gears don't feel that smooth and the rear brake is rubbing slightly.
I work in worcester town centre if anyone knows any good LBS's
Thanks in advance for any help.
(sorry for the double post)

for a service its usually around £20-£30 usually, since you have just bought the bike i would get a bike shop to service it because they will check everything is set up correctly, but after that if you look on evanscycles at the books you should be able to do it yourself0
