I'm after a very lightweight waterproof and breathable jacket, no lining, no pockets for long distance touring and stuffing in a very small space when it isn't raining (steady)
Any suggestions?

    How about:
    Altura Strada Waterproof Race Cape

Close fitting, this ultra lightweight waterproof is made from a stretch high performance fabric with fully taped seams and a soft inner lining. Being semi-clear, it is ideal for racing in poor conditions as jersey colours will still be visible through it. Its low bulk means it can easily be stowed in a jersey pocket as and when the sun comes out.

Waterproof, breathable and windproof fabric, Fully taped seams, Full length front zip with storm flap. Reflective trim. Lycra cuffs and hem.

I use http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=11427 which doesn't keep me dry, but is good in the current weather as it is windproof and keeps off the worst of the weather and I don't get chilled.

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... delID=8951 is recommended as a good breatheable jacket, though perhaps more suitable for chillier weather. Good reviews anyway.

As a back up to my more waterproof Endura Superlite I've also bought a Montane Featherlite Velo, its only showerproof. If I hadn't already had the Endura, I think I would have opted for one of the waterproof Featherlites, I'm really impressed with the size the compact to.

I've got a Montane Jetstream - waterproof, breathable (as much as anything is breathable!) and packs away tiny. For lightweight and 'packability' there can't be much out there to beat it? Although, I could be proved wrong........................
