Rear brake boss question - filling those damn holes!

My frame is v-brake AND disk brake compatible, and has the rear brake bosses still on the frame. I want to remove these as they look naff when you're running discs.
However, when I take the bosses out I am going to have holes in the frame...
I saw these:

and was wondering whether I could use them on the rear brake boss area?

I use these but they come in two sizes M8 and M10 so you need to work out what size the hole is.
