hi Guys
After working my way though various rucsacks for the daily commtue I've finally find a good bag. Got myself a Revolution Stow Expert from my local Edinburgh Bike Shop.
So I'm wondering what rucsacks you guys use?

Glad you found one that works for you. I don't like carrying stuff on my back, so I use either a saddlebag or a tailbox.0

I use panniers, deeply uncool but they have magic car repellers that mean I get given far more space on the road, and my back stays drier .0

Just bought a Jack Wolfskin daysack with an airflow back. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference, still sweat like a pig. That may be just the evil leaving my body though....0

I use a North Face Borealis. Not really cycling specific but it does the job and it keeps everything bone dry (I use plastic bags on clothing inside as a precaution but could probably save myself the bother). It's also got a handy laptop divider (usually used for d-lock), bungee cord stowage and the hooks etc for hydration pack if needed.
Sweat's definitely an issue but then that makes feel like I'm working hard!0 -
I don't like carrying stuff on my back and on my road bike don't want a rack, so got a Carradice Slim with an SQR clip. For me, the perfect solution for commuting and I put a second clip on my MTB as well.0

bagaboo courier bag. Like ddraver I'm a fakenger, but I don't care is it's much bigger and more comfortable than my old rucsack.0

When out mtbing I use a Camelbak M.U.L.E and sometimes a Rimrunner if I am going somehwre that I need extra kit.
For my daily commute I use a Chrome Citizen

It's perfect for commuting and is really comfy to wear. I don't care if I am not a messenger0 -

Panniers are extremely uncool, but just so useful for carrying loads.
I have one uncool day a week, usually a Monday, when I carry all my work gear in a pannier. The rest of the week I use a small rucksack and ride the fast bike, if it's not raining.
I got the cycling specific rucksack from Lidl, it's a really well known brand PRO-X. It even came with a 1L water bladder and reflective bits.0 -
I use a bog standard Regatta rucksack and as mentioned sweat like a pig.
Are cycle-spefici bags really worth it?
on the MTB I use the Lidl (or was it Aldi) Camelback copy. 2.5L water holder and enough space for a few things. Still sweat mind!FCN4: Langster Pro

I don't haul much around so I use a Dueter Attack. I was seduced by the blurb about an integral back protector - it looks the business but I'm not convined it will save my spine in the event of me going 'over the top'Crash 'n Burn, Peel 'n Chew

I use this rack bag here: http://www.rutlandcycling.com/ProductDe ... a993548625
My comuter has full guards and a rack - really nice not to have something on your back I wouldn't go back now.

I used a Kathmandu bag that they don't make any more. think it's called a mirage, but they're now up to Mirage v3 and it's quite different. Mine has this big external pocket/flap thing which is great for your helmet/shoes/whatever.
One of the best things about it is that it is made of a fabric which is highly reflective (they call it "illuminite"), so the bag basically glows at night if car headlights hit it. If you are contemplating a backpack, I'd highly advocate some sort of reflecto-stuff.
I've recently moved to a Topeak MTX system, but still use the backpack occasionally.Commute - MASI Souville3 | Road/CX - MASI Speciale CX | Family - 80s ugly | Utility - Cargobike0 -
I use a Deuter Futura 22 - can recommend - has one of those aircomfort things, holding it away from your back. Also has a fold away rain cover, but I tend to use one of those Respro hiviz covers in all weathers.
Its big enough to hold a small laptop but not too big that its annoying to have on your back.
I hated wearing rucksacks at first, but now used to it.
