    Well i'm in a postion to answer my own question now as following everyones mostly positive feedback i've got myself some F1 Mille shorts an Uno top and an elemtn zero gillet.

    my thoughts are:

    FI millle shorts: excellent, really comfy definatley the nicest i've tried and the leg grippers are just about right.

    Uno jersey: well its a jersey - certainly comfortable but i find the pockets a tad shallow - nothing fell out over 70 miles but i had to keep checking everytime i hit a bump (which is a lot round here). Bizarely the blue of the top doesn't quite match the blue of the shorts which is a bit disapointing for expensive kit IMO. not sure i'd get another

    Element Zero: perhaps slighlty more breathable than my Gore windstopper and a bit better made (looks very bling in yellow as well)
