hayes brake trouble

hi,
my hayes works most of the time but now and again the lever pulls but it dosent move the pads but if you do it again it works,

anyone know how to fix this?

sounds like they just need bleeding i had a similiar problems on one of my hayes nine's but it just didnt move the pads at all, and never worked

yeh this is what is happening with these hayes as well did you just bleed them and they worked all the time again?

i took it to my lbs and they bled both for £30 and now they work everytime, i got them bled last wed and for the first day or so it was still weak but once on the trails for 10 mins its back to normal. , hope this helps
